Visit the Asia Society collection of Asian Art in a new engaging space to linger and learn. Then enjoy the Metropolitan Museum's traditional Christmas displays. Special exhibits include: "American Landscapes" in the recently renovated Lehman Wing and "Masterpieces of Modern Design." Includes Asia Society tour and all admissions. Lunch is on your own. Dreamweaver 8 Level 1A step-by-step guide through the development of a sample web project using Dreamweaver. Learn to create basic HTML pages by formatting text, inserting images, setting links and working with tables and forms. Painting: Open Studio & Critique WorkshopGather some of your artwork for an in-depth problem-identifying and -solving critique with one of the region's composition authorities. Paint in class or take notes from the critiques of fellow students. Work on your corrections and get a follow-up opinion on your progress. All media welcome. Six Mondays, starting January 5, 11 am-1 pm at Creutzburg Center. Snazzy Socks & MittensLearn to knit a pair of socks or mittens with the latest self-striping or patterning yarns. Work with lots of fun colors and learn new techniques, too! Students should know how to knit and purl. Five Wednesdays, starting January 7, 10 am –11:30 am at Creutzburg Center. Yoga to GoLearn ways to stretch, breathe and overcome the stress that travel and jet-lag place on your body. Arrive at your destination more relaxed, rested and ready for activity.
